1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BASTION ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. BASTION is operated by BASTION Systems ("we", "us", "our").

2. Description of Service

BASTION provides AI-powered cryptocurrency risk intelligence, market analysis, and trade management tools. The Platform includes:

• AI-generated risk assessments and trading signals
• Real-time market monitoring and alerts
• Portfolio analysis and position management tools
• API access for programmatic integration

3. Not Financial Advice

BASTION does not provide financial, investment, or trading advice. All AI-generated signals, risk scores, and analysis are for informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions. We strongly recommend consulting a qualified financial advisor before making any investment decisions.

4. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, API keys, and exchange connections. You must:

• Provide accurate registration information
• Keep your password and API keys secure
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Not share your account with third parties

5. Exchange API Connections

When you connect exchange API keys to BASTION, you authorize the Platform to read your positions and, if enabled, execute trades on your behalf according to the risk engine's signals. You can revoke this access at any time by removing your API keys. We encrypt all exchange credentials at rest using industry-standard encryption.

6. Execution Engine

If you enable the optional execution engine, BASTION may automatically execute trades based on AI risk assessments. By enabling this feature, you acknowledge that:

• Automated execution carries inherent risks including slippage and partial fills
• AI models can produce incorrect signals
• You remain fully responsible for all executed trades
• You can disable execution at any time via the kill switch

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BASTION Systems shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to trading losses, data loss, or service interruptions. The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

8. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Platform to:

• Engage in market manipulation or wash trading
• Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the AI model
• Exceed API rate limits or abuse system resources
• Resell or redistribute BASTION signals without permission
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

9. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Platform may be unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for losses arising from service downtime.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your exchange API keys will be permanently removed from our systems.
